PUBG Update 5.1 For Console Brings New Survival Pass, Revamped Miramar, And More

As soon as the PUBG 5.1 update became available on the live servers today, PUBG Corp. announced that the 5.1 update is also available for Xbox One and PS4 users. The patch notes for 5.1 update reveal new additions to the game including Survivor Pass: Badlands, vending machines, Miramar updates, and throwables.

Miramar Updates

Miramar now features a race track at A La Muerte Vamos along with new objects such as loops, ramps, signboards, and jumps. The Gold Mirado is also added to the map, which can be found at the garage in Hacienda del Patron and only one Gold Mirado will spawn in each match. Some small objects in the map have also been removed to reduce clutter.

 

Survivor Pass: Badlands

The latest Survivor Pass introduces new missions, rewards, and improved systems. Survivor Pass: Badlands brings Community Mission System, where the mission gauge can be filed by finding new mystery collectibles such as Cardboard Boxes. These Cardboard Boxes will contain one of the three objects- Disc piece, Broken disc, Old DVD. Along with this, the new Survivor Pass also brings season missions, progression missions, and challenge missions.

 

Vending Machines

Vending machines are now placed in Camp Jackal and Miramar to offer a new looting experience. In Miramar, the vending machines will spawn in Casino, Arenas, Motels, gas stations, and commercial buildings. While, in Camp Jackal, vending machines can be found at the warehouse and gas station. Vending machines will provide Energy Drinks and Painkillers.

 

Throwables

Players can throw requested items to other players at a maximum distance of 15m. Melee weapons such as crowbar, machete, pan, and sickle can also be thrown to attack enemies. The 5.1 update also brings performance, gameplay, UI/UX, and gameplay improvements along with bug fixes and new items. The update is now available on the test server and live maintenance will be going on until October 29.
