During PUBG Mobile Club Open Spring finals, PUBG Corp. had teased the upcoming Erangel 2.0 map, which will be a revamped version of the already existing map. TS Jang, Executive Producer of PUBG Corp. had said that the revamped version of the map will be available soon. Now, reports claim that Erangel 2.0 should arrive in December.
The report mentions a leaked promo video, where players drop onto the revamped map. The map seems to have pine trees and mountain peaks that look a bit more realistic compared to the current map along with some tall and dense grass where players are running around to look for enemies.
The promo video then moves on to a fast-paced fight scene where a player can be seen shooting from a revamped version of the buggy. Some others can be seen looting a supply crate while fighting against another squad, followed by more vehicle to vehicle combat. However, it should be noted that this is just a promo video and not the actual gameplay, so there may be some changes in Erangel 2.0 when it rolls out.
Another promo video suggests that the game could soon have glass windows, which are already present in the PC version of PUBG. The game may also bring new costumes and skins.
